Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands", which is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
During our sessions, we will discuss the major stresses in your life, belief system, health history, childhood and other issues that have an influence on your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. As well as recommend some dietary or lifestyle changes, which you may implement if you choose.
We are not physicians or psychotherapists and we do not diagnose diseases or prescribe drugs.
At all times your healing is your responsibility. We are available to assist you in this process, be your committed listener and your mirror. We do not advise you to discontinue any medical treatment you may be receiving. Reiki is intended to be in harmony with any other healing work that you undertake, including traditional medicine.
Initial Consultation & First Session
One Hour Session
Come into a tranquil spa room and learn about the benefits of meditation.
We will discuss what you hope to gain from introducing mediation into your life.
You will lay down on a massage table or sit on the floor on a meditation mat and be led through breathe work to achieve a sense of grounding.
Slowing the breath regulates the nervous system to calm stress and anxiety. You will also be lead through a guided visualization.
At the end you will discuss your experiences with our Practitioner. The result of guided meditation practices will be achieving a sense of calm, relaxation, and regulation of the nervous system to achieve inner peace.
Private yoga sessions allow us to refine our teaching in order to cater to individual needs.
Through higher-level training and certifications, our private yoga instructor is able to address a wide range of requests for your class. Private classes are designed to focus on detailed requests such as alignment, advanced postures, and sequencing, weight loss, relaxation, flexibility, injury rehabilitation, yoga therapeutics, or meditation.
The non-intimidating environment of private yoga sessions gives you a chance to ask questions and receive advanced assistance. Perfect for students of all levels, private sessions are also helpful to those who are new to yoga and not yet interested in attending public classes.
